ANDREW LEIBENGUTH/TIMES NEWS Since 1948, Santa Claus and his "firefighter elves" have entertained excited children during their annual American Hose Company Community Visit with Santa. Their latest Santa visit, open to the public and held free of charge, was held on Sunday and consisted of a visit and gift from Santa Claus, as well as free snacks and refreshements from local firefighters. Donning firefighter attire with Santa are Derek, 6, and Dustin Miller, 2, Tamaqua. American Hose Company firefighter Chris Hadesty helped Santa bring holiday cheer to all the attending families.
