Allison G. Lareau, 216 Greenwood St., Tamaqua, started a divorce action against Alain H. Lareau III, 2700 Peninsula Road, Oxnard, Calif. They were married Feb. 22, 1999.Divorces grantedDaryl Snody was granted a divorce from Cecelie Snody, both of Tower City. They were married June 6, 1970.Rose H. George, Shenandoah, was granted a divorce from Frank W. George, Frackville. They were married June 18, 1994.Paul J. Longenberger, Mahanoy City, was granted a divorce from Lori A. Longenberger, Shenandoah. They were married March 6, 1999.ARD programRachel Evelyn Guscott, 21, Pottsville, was placed by Judge Jacqueline Russell in the Accelerated Rehabilative Disposition (ARD) probation program which is reserved for first offenders who committed a non-violent crime.Guscott was placed for a year and if she completes the program without violations her record will be cleared. She has been charged by Pottsville Sgt. John R. Morrow, with possession of drug paraphernalia. She also must pay a $350 fee to defray the cost of the program, $100 to Substance Abuse Education fund, $50 to Criminal Justice Enhancement Account, perform 10 hours of community service and pay a $50 monthly supervision while in the program.Changes pleaAngela Marie Tarson, 21, Ashland, was to go on trial without a jury but when her case was called changed her mind and pleaded guilty to charges of driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol and drugs, driving with an open can of alcoholic beverages in her vehicle, making an illegal U-turn and careless driving. Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin accepted the guilty plea and deferred sentence to Jan. 4, 2012.
