Tracy Minuni, 40, of Brodheadsville, is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or a controller substance after she was found sleeping in her vehicle on Dec. 7 at 7;48 a.m. on State Rt. 209 in Polk Township.

State police at the Lehighton barracks said they were on routing patrol when they came upon a vehicle that had traveled off the roadway and came to rest in a resident's front yard. Upon investigation, police found Minuni alseep behind the wheel of the vehicle.Police said she was transported to a local hospital in the West End Ambulance due to medical reasons and for further evaluation.
