This Sunday, Dec. 4, the Rev. Dr. Scott Brooks Cope, Director of Pastoral Care at Phoebe Ministries, will be the supply pastor.There will be a Blue Christmas service on Monday, Dec. 5 at 7 p.m. for those who may be feeling a big "blue" this holiday season. Perhaps you are grieving a loved one or the pain of a lost relationship, job or health. Come to the service for some healing grace. The Rev. John Dech will be the supply pastor.Youth groupThe next youth group meeting will be Friday, Dec. 2 at 5 p.m. If you have any questions, call 610-381-2442.PVENPVEN is looking for volunteers on Tuesday mornings to carry bagged food from the center to clients' cars.In need of any food items, they additionally need small boys' shoes for donation.These items can be dropped off at St. Matthew's UCC during office hours of Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and Sundays from 8-11:30 a.m.Angel TreeIf you would like to purchase a brand new toy or item for teenagers, please pick an angel off the angel tree at St. Matthew's. These items will be given to youth in the West End community. Please drop the items off at the church during office hours or Sunday mornings no later than Sunday, Dec. 11.
