Pocono Mountain Regional police reported on the following arrests made by officers.

Police reported the arrest of two individuals for an incident that occurred on June 20 at Joe's Kwik Mart in Pocono Summit.In June officers were called to the mart for a report of a large amount of money stolen during the night shift. Through an investigation, police reviewed store surveillance cameras and interviewed store employees. Police learned the suspects were in the store and when a store employee went outside for a break the theft occurred.Arrested were Ariel Gilbert, 20, of New York, and a 17-year-old male juvenile from Tobyhanna. Police allege Gilbert jumped over a counter and took the money while the teen acted as the lookout.Both were charged with theft, receiving stolen property and criminal conspiracy to commit theft.
