A crash at a Carbon County ski resort was probed.

State police at Lehighton said Alex J. Caccamo, 16, of Bethlehem, was driving a 2000 Volkswagen Jetta northbound on Blue Mountain Drive, in Lower Towamensing Township, about 12:10 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26. Caccamo turned into the lower lot at the Blue Mountain Ski Resort and struck a concrete parking pole located on the north side of the lot.Caccamo was not injured.Troopers investigated a one vehicle crash about 1:12 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 28, along Hideaway Hill Road in Polk Township, Monroe County. Troopers said Dane J. Beers, 19, of Kresgeville, was driving a 1985 BMW 325E sotuhbound and negotiating a uphill right hand curve when he lost control after cresting the hill.The car went onto the berm and struck a utility pole with the passenger side rear quarter panel. After impact the car spun 180 degrees and rolled onto the passengers' side where it came to rest.Beers was not injured. He was cited for maximum speed limits, troopers said.
