DUI arrests reported in Monroe

Pocono Mountain Regional police reported on driving under the influence (DUI) arrests.

Police said about 2:50 a.m. on Nov. 24 they received a report of an accident along Kuhenbeaker Road, in Tunkhannock Township. Upon arrival officers found a vehicle in the ditch with the driver, identified as Patrick Denig, 32, of Tobyhanna, still inside.Denig was found asleep behind the wheel and intoxicated. He was taken into custody, failed field sobriety tests, and transported to the Pocono Medical Center (PMC), East Stroudsburg, for a blood test.The DUI charge is pending the test results.On Nov. 24 about 1:44 a.m. police stopped a vehicle along SR115 at the Pocono Raceway for a traffic violation. The driver was identified as Justin M. Guth, 26, of Jim Thorpe. He was found to be under the influence and failed field sobriety tests. Also found was drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana.Guth was taken to PMC for a blood test. The DUI count and drug charges are pending.Also on Nov. 24, about 4:30 a.m. police were dispatched to a one-vehicle crash along Pocono Crest Road, in Pocono Pines, for an accident. The driver was identified as Selina Mason, of Pocono Lake. She was found to be under the influence and failed field sobriety tests. She was taken to PMC for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results.
