November 19, 1965 Joe Colancecco carries 11 times for 78 yards but it's not enough for Marian to close the season with a win, as the Colts fall to Bethlehem Catholic 7-0. Marian's defense, led by Bill Sakusky, holds the Crusaders to only 121 yards in the contest but a one-yard touchdown run by Bob Tarola less than a minute before halftime proves to be the difference. The Colts, coached by Jack Malarkey, also receive 68 yards rushing and an interception on defense from Den Boyle.
