'John Doe' nabbed for break-ins

State police at Frackville reported the arrest of "John Doe" for entering about 70 campers at a Schuylkill County location. The incident occurred abouat 10:50 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 18.

Troopers said the campers were located in the area of 61 Millers Road, in North Union Township. Entry was gained to the campers by breaking windows and entry doors.Once inside the suspect removed assorted items. The suspect was found by campground staff sleeping inside one of the campers that hand been broken into.He was taken into custody by troopers and transported to the barracks. At the barracks the suspect gave a name and date-of-birth which could not be verified. He was then charged as John Doe, troopers said.He is facing charges of burglary, criminal trespass, theft, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief. John Doe was arraigned before on-call District Judge David Plachko, of Port Carbon, and committed to the county prison in Pottsville after failing to post $25,000 bail.The investigation into the incident is continuing and additional charges are pending.
