A woman was reportedly seriously injured when struck by a vehicle last night at Hazard Square in Jim Thorpe.

The woman, whose identity wasn't known, was transported by the Lehighton Ambulance paramedics to Jim Thorpe High School where a helicopter landed and flew her to a Lehigh Valley hospital.Traffic was detoured around the site for over an hour.The incident happened shortly after 7 p.m.No other details were available last night.
