A Lansford driver is facing several charges following a traffic stop that occurred about 9:57 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 14, at White and Bridge streets., in Weissport.

State police at Lehighton said Ryan A. Cain, 43, of the 500 block of E. Abbott St., was stopped operating a 2001 Pontiac Sunfire for a registration violation.Troopers said Cain was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance-marijuana, and also had in his possession a small amount of marijuana and a marijuana smoking pipe.He was transported to the Palmerton hospital for a blood test. Troopers said he will be charged with driving under the influence (DUI), possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and related summary traffic offenses.
