November 17, 1934 An 80-yard scoring drive in the second quarter proves to be all Tamaqua needs in gaining a 6-0 victory over Summit Hill. A 12-yard run by "Bingo" Heisler helps set up a short touchdown plunge by Boroscius. The Hillers threaten in the second half but are turned away by two big defensive plays. After a blocked punt, Boroscius makes a touchdown-saving tackle inside the 10-yard line. The Raiders also avoid another SH scoring chance when Donahue intercepts a pass.
