State police at Lehighton are investigating a burglary and theft incident.

The break-in occurred at the AMX Auto, located in Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County. A garage on the property was entered and about six gallons of gasoline was removed from automobiles in the garage. The owner was identified as Tim Duncan, 56, of Palmerton. The incident occurred sometime between 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12, and 8 a.m. on Monday.William M. Cooper, 50, of 1052 Hideaway Hills Road, in Kunkletown, Polk Township, Monroe County, reported someone removed two deer trail cameras from the backyard area of his home. The theft was reported at 1:51 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12.Anyone with information concerning either incident is asked to call troopers at (610) 377-4270.
