State police at Schuylkill Haven reported on two driving under the influence (DUI) arrests made along Schuylkill County roadways.

About 1:25 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 13, troopers made contact with Anthony J. Fanelli, 46, of Pottsville, in a dirt parking lot along the east berm of SR209, in East Norwegian Township, about a quarter-mile north of Pottsville. Fanelli was found to be under the influence and failed field sobriety tests. He was then taken to the Schuylkill Medical Center-S. Jackson St., Pottsville, for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results, troopers said.About 5:08 a.m. on Sunday troopers made a vehicle stop along SR209, between Fourth and Seventh sts., in Tower City. The driver was identified as Anthony David Beck Jr., 27, of Tower City.He was found to be under the influence and failed field sobriety tests. He refused to submit to a blood test, troopers said. He will be charged, troopers added.
