State police at Frackville reported on two retail theft arrests made on Saturday, Nov. 11, both occurring at stores in the Schuylkill Mall, New Castle Township.

About 4 p.m. troopers were called to the Kmart store for a report of a theft. Troopers said David J. Lackie, 28, of Girardville, was stopped by store security for allegedly attempting to remove four DVD movies from the store without paying for them. The movies are valued at $75.22.At 7:30 p.m. troopers were dispatched to the Sears store in the mall for a reported theft. Troopers said Rebecca G. Correll, 41, of Minersville, was stopped by store security for allegedly attempting to leave the store with various items without paying for them.
