Woman cited for public drunkenness

A Florida woman was cited for public drunkenness following an incident in Monroe County.

Pocono Mountain Regional police responded to the parking lot of the Kmart store in Mt. Pocono about 11:42 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 8.Upon arrival officers made contact with Maria Williamson, 52, of Rotonda, Fla., and her ex-husband,Frank Laforgia. Williamson was found to be highly intoxicated.She wanted Laforgia to buy her some beer and he refused which caused an argument, police said.Williamson was walking in and out of traffic and fell down several times, police added.She was taken into custody, charged, and then placed in the county prison in Snydersville.
