A Monroe County man was jailed on Saturday, Nov. 5, following a stabbing incident. Pocono Mountain Regional police said the incident occurred about 9:47 p.m. at the Sullivan Trail Motel, located along SR940 in Pocono Lake.

When they arrived police were told by Curtis Parker, 19, of Albrightsville, that he had been stabbed in the stomach by Alexander Forbes, 19, also of Albrightsville.Forbes fled the scene on foot prior to the arrival of police.K9 Niko was called to the scene to assist in the search and found Forbes, who taken into custody.He was placed under arrest for aggravated and simple assault, terroristic threats, resisting arrest and possessing an instrument of crime.He was placed in the county prison in Snydersville.Parker was transported to a trauma center for treatment of his injuries, police said.
