A Sugarloaf man was injured in a two vehicle accident in Tamaqua on Nov. 2.

Christian Lescowitch was traveling south on Railroad Street (SR309) in a Dodge Stratus at 9:20 a.m. Lescowitch told officer he fell asleep at the wheel after working the midnight shift and struck the rear end of a coal truck owned by Joseph Wargo.Lescowitch was transported to St. Luke's Miners Medical Center, Coaldale. Wargo was not injured.The Dodge received moderate damage, while the truck had no damage.
