A Carbon County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident that occurred about 8:10 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5.

State police at Lehighton said Mitchell Kenlon McClure, 50, of Palmerton, was stopped for a traffic violation along SR248 eastbound at Club Road, in Lower Towamensing Township.McClure was found to be under the influence and was taken into custody. Charges will be filed, troopers said.
