An armed robber got away with a large quantity of drugs in a Monroe County incident.

State police at Fern Ridge said a man entered the CVC Pharmacy, located along SR115 at SR209, in Brodheadsville, Chestnuthill Township, about 2:33 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5, and proceeded to the pharmacy counter to the rear of the building.Once there he handed the pharmacy technician a note relating that he had a gun and that he wanted all the Oxycondone that the pharmacy had. The technician gave the note to the pharmacist on duty. The pharmacist turned over a large quantity of Oxycondone pills to the man, troopers said.The suspect was wearing a black, ski-type mask, over his face, a gray hooded sweatshirt, black gloves, black pants and black and white sneakers.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at (570) 646-2271.
