With the final week of the regular season upon us and probably just two more weeks of Grid Picks during playoff weeks, it's time to just sit down, check things out and try and finish respectably at least in the top half of the standings.

Right now, it's rivalry week. You never know what's going to happen.Some teams have playoffs in their sight, others will be playing for the final time this season.So in order to finish in that top half, I have a little bit of work to do.Here it goes:MARIAN AT TAMAQUA - The Marian Colts haven't done too well when I've picked them this year. This game means a lot for both teams as the winner will most likely land in the Eastern Conference playoffs. The Colts seem to have the momentum, so it's ... Marian, 21-18.JIM THORPE AT LEHIGHTON - The Olympians picked up their lone win over Schuylkill Haven, while the Indians have been hot and cold at times. The edge just has to go to Lehighton here ... Lehighton, 28-7.NORTHERN LEHIGH AT PALMERTON - The Blue Bombers seemed to have peaked for the Northwestern game and with an injury here and there, haven't been the same since. The Bulldogs are playing for seeding position for the District 11 playoffs ... Northern Lehigh, 31-7.MINERSVILLE AT PANTHER VALLEY - The Panthers have played their hearts on in their first season under Lon Hazlet, but the Battlin' Miners have too much offensive power ... Minersville, 28-0.STROUDSBURG AT PLEASANT VALLEY - The Mountaineers are going after their eighth win this season and I'm not saying it will be easy, but it's ... Stroudsburg, 24-14.NORTHWESTERN AT CATASAUQUA - The winner here goes to the Eastern Conference playoffs and the Tigers have played great football of late ... Northwestern, 21-14.PEN ARGYL AT BANGOR - The Battle of the Slate Belt could have been for all of the marbles in the Colonial League, but the Slaters have fallen on hard times with losses the last two weeks. The Green Knights are as focused as anyone right now ... Pen Argyl, 21-7.WILSON AT NOTRE DAME - This game is a rivalry game since both schools are pretty close. The Warriors are having a down year and the Crusaders have won three games. Brett Comp will find some way to get the Warriors pumped up ... Wilson, 14-13.EAST STROUDSBURG SOUTH AT EAST STROUDSBURG NORTH - The Timberwolves were in control of the Mountain Valley Conference early this year and have a couple more wins than the Cavaliers. But in as close as a rivalry you can get, I'm going with ... East Stroudsburg South, 21-20.POCONO MOUNTAIN WEST AT POCONO MOUNTAIN EAST - The Cardinals and Panther square off and it looks like East wants to finish with at least a .500 season at its sister school's expense ... Pocono Mountain East, 28-14.MAHANOY AREA AT SHENANDOAH VALLEY - The Golden Bears and Blue Devils have both had great seasons, but for some reason, I like Mahanoy better ... Mahanoy Area, 28-21.ALLENTOWN CENTRAL CATHOLIC AT EMMAUS - The Vikings have killed me all season and I'm still not sure if they've figured out what went wrong.
