Carbon County Navy Club to host Pa. Squadron meeting

The Carbon County Navy Club Ship 260 will host its first Pennsylvania Squadron meeting at 2 p.m. on Nov. 5, at the Nesquehoning VFW, 300 E. Center St. The Pennsylvania Squadron consists of seven ships from across the state.

All members are asked to attend.Also invited are all auxiliary members and associate members; as well as any Navy, Marine or Coast Guard members, active duty, reserve or veteran.The auxiliary accepts anyone age 12 and older, widows or widowers and parents of waterborne military men or women.Associate members can be anyone age 21 or older.Meetings for the Navy Club and associate members take place on the last Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m.; while the auxiliary meets on the second Thursday of the month at 7:30 p.m.New members are always welcome.For more information, call (570) 645-3643 or (570) 645-7312.
