State police at Fern Ridge are investigating a burglary that occurred at a Monroe County residence.

Troopers said a home at 9 South Lane, Jackson Township, was entered sometime between Sept. 25-30. Removed was $5,710 worth of tools belonging to Gino Selmana, 39, of New York, N.Y. The tools included nail guns, air compressors, saws and various hand tools. Some of the tools may have the initial "GS" on them.The home was not secured, troopers noted.
