The Pottsville Campus of the McCann School of Business and Technology will mhost the Second Annual Safety First/Family event in conjunction with the American Heart Association Heart Chase Walk. The event will be held Oct. 29, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with the first check point at 2650 Woodglen Rd., Pottsville, campus headquarters.

In addition to valuable safety information brochures and the heart walk, activities will include a safe trick or treat event, pumpkin decorating, fire truck and ambulance tours and appearances by Smokey the Bear and the Dentex Bus.For more information about the event, call (570) 622-7622 or log on to
