State police at Frackville reported on two separate retail theft arrests made at the Schuylkill Mall in New Castle Township.

On Oct. 11 about 9 p.m. troopers arrested Kevin James Lawson, 34, of Schuylkill Haven, at the Sears store. Lawson, an employee at the store, allegedly removed a Coby 8GB MP3 player without paying for it.On Saturday, Oct. 15, about 2:30 p.m. troopers said Kira Warner, 19, of Saint Clair, was arrested at the Deb store for allegedly concealing a pair of leggings valued at $7.99, and attempting to leave the store without paying for them.
