Today's teens are big on books - both reading and writing. Some of the works seen here in the Tamaqua Library foyer display case will be discussed on Thursday, October 20 at 6 p.m., when the South Railroad Street library hosts the Second Annual Teen Read, an event that showcases the latest books presented by teens. The Teen Read also will interface with the English curriculum at Tamaqua Area High School, coordinated by English instructor Thelma Urban.
