State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a shooting incident that occurred in Schuylkill County.

Troopers said unknown criminals fired three rounds toward the property of Joseph E. Lazovi Jr., 47, of 460 Beurys Road, Barry Township, Ashland, striking the victim's 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Sport and a garage. One round struck the garage and two hit the Jeep placing a hole in the passenger side front door and also damaging the area of the vehicle near the top of the windshield. Damages were estimated at $500.The incident occurred sometime between Friday, Oct. 14, at noon and 3 p.m. on Sunday.A theft from a vehicle incident is also being investigated. Jessica Snyder, 29, of Pottsville, reported her unlocked Jeep was entered while parked in the 1000 block of E. Norwegian St., Mechanicsburg, and removed was a bottle of wine and a bottle of Chanel perfume. The incident occurred sometime between 9 and 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15.Anyone with information concerning either incident is asked to call troopers at (570) 593-2000.
