The Carbon County Democrats for Change Club recently received an award for its work on a video. Mike Morrill, executive officer of Keystone Progress, right; presented the Video of The Year award to the organization's president Linda Christman during the club's September meeting. The video that won was filmed on the Christman farm in Lehighton and was produced and directed by club member Rene Calvo, and featured Linda and Roy Christman, along with chicken co-stars. The CCDC club meets on the fourth Tuesday, monthly at the Inn at Jim Thorpe at 7 p.m., unless otherwise published. The next meeting is scheduled for Oct. 25.
