A Monroe County driver was seriously injured in a one-vehicle crash that occurred about 2:10 a.m. today along Cays Road in Jackson Township.

State police at Fern Ridge said Katie A. Rogers, 18, of Stroudsburg, was driving a 2005 Ford Escape southbound when the vehicle crossed the northbound lane and onto the berm.It then struck a mailbox and rolled over on the driver's side.Rogers suffered what troopers termed were major injuries and was transported to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg.Troopers said she was cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic and not wearing a seat belt.
