Friends of Palmerton resident and Tamaqua native Patti Camerini Kohan are planning a benefit Chinese Auction to help defray Kohan's medical expenses. The event will be held Oct. 30 at the Hometown Volunteer Fire Company on SR54 in Rush Township. Organizers promise there "will be many items of interest, something for everyone."
