The club's biggest fundraiser of the year is the fashion show held at The Hideaway. This year's president, Virginia Lamendola, graciously greeted members and visitors, Tail Twister Nancy Beck entertained with her funny stories, and 83 wonderful door prizes were given away. Several lucky ladies walked away with some fabulous prizes from the Chinese auction. This year's casual and business casual fashions were provided by Coldwater Creek and Alfred Dunner, and the lovely evening wear and bridal fashions were provided by Elegant Bridal, as announced by Joyce McDonald and modeled by Lioness members and family members as they "strutted their stuff" and "walked the walk." The fashion show was coordinated by Lioness vice president Ruth Smith. The proceeds from the fashion show and luncheon makes it possible for them to lend their monetary support to many local organizations.
