Sweet treat time

The Leo Club at Pleasant Valley High School will be doing a sweet reach out to families attending the parent teacher conference this Wednesday. Each week the SFRC is asking for a one-item specified donation from pantry supporters (however, accepted will be all types donations) but in planning ahead the volunteers want to make sure that there are enough items of any one kind when the time comes.This week the item is a can of yams or sweet potatoes.Items may be brought to the church during regular office hours or on Saturday mornings when the food pantry is open. Donors are asked to make sure the donated item is not an expired food.Cookbook comingSt. Peter's UMC is planning a church cookbook and is seeking favorite recipes from members.
