Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Klotz Sr. of Lehighton celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary recently. They were married on Sept. 28, 1963 by the late Rev. Engle.

Mrs. Klotz is the former Mary Ann Labenburg, daughter of the late Gordon Angstead and the late Ellen Angstead. She is employed by the TIMES NEWS in Lehighton.Mr. Klotz is the son of Blaine Klotz Sr., a resident at the Mahoning Valley Convalescent Home and the late Norma Klotz. He was self-employed as the owner at the former B&B Automotive Supply in Lehighton. He is now retired.The celebrants have three children, Robert Klotz Jr., Melissa Fairchild and Timothy Klotz, all of Lehighton. They also have 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
