A 17-year-old teen was cited following a two-vehicle crash that occurred about 3:06 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 4, along SR61, near News St., in North Manheim Township, Schuylkill County.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said the teen, from Schuylkill Haven, was operating a 2011 Ford F150 pickup truck and turning right from the Sheetz parking lot to go north. As he traveled onto the road he pulled into the path of a 1997 Ford Escort driven northbound by Douglas J. Fegley, 38, of Gordon.After impact the Escort overturned onto its roof and slid about 25 feet before coming to rest in the northbound lane. After impact the F150 traveled about 20 feet north and came to rest in the northbound lane.Fegley sustained a minor injury and was treated at the scene by medical personnel. Damages were disabling to the Escort and minor to the truck.The teen was cited for stop signs and yield signs.
