State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating a one vehicle crash about 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 27, along Spruce Drive, near SR125, in Pine Grove Township.

Troopers said Joshua A. Bishop, 18, of Schuylkill Haven, was operating a 2002 Mazda Portege 5 when it left the road and traveled about 16 feet along the berm before striking an embankment. After impact the car traveled another 34 feet before turning over onto its roof and coming to rest back on the road.Bishop sustained a laceration to his left forearm and a bruised to his left knee. He was treated at the scene by Pine Grove ambulance personnel. Troopers cited him for driving on roadways laned for traffic.
