A Lehigh County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following a crash involving a Schuylkill County driver that occurred about 4:10 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 23, along SR309 in Lynn Township.

State police at Fogelsville said David Eric Glaser, 40, of New Tripoli, was southbound and driving too fast for conditions and lost control of his vehicle. The car spun around and entered the oncoming lane of travel where it struck a vehicle driven northbound by a 38-year-old female from New Ringgold. No one was injured.Glaser showed signs of being under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance and failed field sobriety tests. Troopers said charges are pending.
