State police at Fern Ridge are investigating the theft of a motorcycle.

Donna Marie Schmidt, of East Chatham, N.Y., reported her 2007 Denim blue Harley Davidson Heritage bike was stolen from a locked shed located along Maple Road, in Sun Valley, Effort. The bike had a windshield, floor boards and saddle bags. The bike as New York registration plate 35EJ88 and vehicle identification number (VIN) 1HD1BW5187Y010403.The theft occurred sometime between 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 18, and 10 a.m. on Monday.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at (570)-646-2271.
