Care Net of Carbon County, 531 Mahoning St., Lehighton, is planning a benefit walk on Saturday, Oct. 15, at the Lehigh Canal Park, Weissport. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. and the walk starts at 10 a.m. Proceeds benefit Care Net of Carbon County, a nonprofit community resource providing support to those facing pregnancy and encouraging healthy choices in sexuality, fertility and parenting.
