A Schuylkill County man is being sought for assault.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said an arrest warrant has been issued for Joseph Tarlecky, 36, of 99 Oak Ledge Ave., North Manheim Township.According to troopers about 10 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 18, Tarlecky entered into a verbal argument with his wife, Robyn Tarlecky, 26. The argument turned physical when he shoved his wife against a wall. A short time later Richard Osatchuck Sr., 56, of Schuylkill Haven, attempted to remove Mrs. Tarlecky from harm's way. At this point Tarlecky attacked Osatchuck by repeatedly punching him in the face and then dug his fingers into his left eye.Mrs. Tarlecky and Osatchuck were able to flee the home but the victim was unable to see out of his left eye.Tarlecky is facing simple assault and harassment charges.
