A Schuylkill County driver was seriously injured in a one-vehicle crash that occurred about 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 18, along Summerhill Road, a mile west of Moyers Station Road, in Wayne Township.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Brandi Eiler, 32, of Schuylkill Haven, was driving a 2002 Dodge Durango westbound when she lost control. The Durango began to spin in a clockwise direction and went onto the berm. It then entered a cornfield, traveling about 76 feet northwest through the field before flipping over one and a half times, traveling another 44 feet before coming to rest on its roof.Eiler was not wearing a seat belt and was partially ejected from the vehicle. She was entrapped under the vehicle and had to be extricated by rescue personnel. She was flown to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, by Medevac helicopter. Damages to the vehicle were termed severe.Troopers said traffic citations will be filed against Eiler.
