A recruitment meeting for new Girl Scouts will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church, North Street, on Wednesday, Sept. 21, from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Christian Education Sunday observedChristian Education Sunday, will be observed on Sept. 25, at St. John's Lutheran Church, South Ave. Sunday School will begin the day of events, at 9:15 a.m. Children of the Sunday School will be decorating the nave of the church, with the symbol of the day, the cross.During the 10:30 worship, the teaching staff of the Sunday School will be installed by Rev. Muhr, who will also have children's time.Community supper setOn Sunday, Sept. 25, there will be a free community supper at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Race Street. The meal of baked ziti and salad will be served from 4-6 p.m.
