A vehicle stop led to three drug arrests.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said about 6:42 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 13, officers stopped a vehicle along SR940 west of Tanglewood, in Tobyhanna Township, for speeding.At the stop officers detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.Further investigation revealed that Joshua Csikortos, 18, of Tobyhanna, was in possession of several dime size baggies of marijuana consistent with street level drug sales.Two others in the car, Andrea Gallagher, 19, and Ramon Avila, 18, both of Tobyhanna, were found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.Csikortos was taken into custody and charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession, criminal use of a communication device and possession of drug paraphernalia.He was taken to the county prison in Snydersville pending arraignment.Gallagher and Avila were both charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia and released.
