Community Fair

New Life Assembly of God Church will sponsor a free Community Fair this Saturday, from 4-7 p.m., at the Tamaqua Community Center. The center is located to the rear of Boyer's Food Mart, next to Willing Park.Free activities will include a bounce house, face painting, balloon animals, a dunk tank and games for kids. Free refreshments will include hot dogs and cotton candy.The public is welcome to attend. In all there will be a total of 10 different groups, each meeting one night a week from October through December. Some of the sessions require a small fee for materials.The sessions include "Heaven Finding Our True Home," examining expectations and providing a biblical perspective on Heaven, something richer and more exciting than one can imagine. Harvest Home will be celebrated. A children's service will be included. Sunday school classes will be held at 9:30 a.m.Also Sunday, a presentation on the mission trip to Rwanda will be held at 5:30 p.m., at Christ Church McKeansburg Fellowship Hall. The service will include a tribute to first responders.
