A project born of the growing popularity of the Lake Harmony area as an all-seasons vacation and recreational site attained full reality with the formal dedication and consecration of St. Peter the Fisherman Church, a mission of the Immaculate Conception Parish in Jim Thorpe. The Most Reverend Thomas J. Welsh, Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Allentown, conducted the impressive ceremony before an overflow congregation.
