A Schuylkill County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident that occurred about 12:41 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 3, along SR61 in the area of Municipal Road, in West Brunswick Township.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Vinni Singh, 41, of Orwigsburg, was stopped while northbound in a 2010 BMW for traffic violations. She was found to be under the influence and failed field sobriety tests.She was then transported to a DUI checkpoint in Schuylkill Haven for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results.
