State police at the Fern Ridge barracks are investigating the theft of cash from a home in Chestnuthill Township.

The victim is Douglas Searles, 30, of Saylorsburg.Police said someone stole about $750 form the victim's residence located on the Effort-Neola Road between 8;20 a.m. Aug. 25 and 10 a.m. Aug. 29.No other information about the incident was released by police.
