State police at Frackville are investigating a reported assault incident. The incident reportedly occurred in front of 240 N. Second St., in the Schuylkill County borough of Girardville.

Troopers said Warren Teasley, 29, of Girardville, reported he was struck in the head with a beer bottle about 3:35 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 27, following a disturbance. Troopers said Teasley received a laceration above his left eye and also to his lip. He was treated at St. Catherine's Hospital, Ashland.The suspect was described as a Hispanic male.
