A Monroe County woman is facing a charge of retail theft following an incident that occurred at Weis Markets, SR209, in Chestnuthill Township.

State police at Fern Ridge said Christine Little, 42, of Effort, was stopped by store security attempting to remove two filet mignon steaks and a small toy from the store without paying for the items. The items are valued at $29.07.The incident occurred about 12:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 24, troopers said.
