A Berks County driver was charged following a one vehicle crash in Schuylkill County.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Nicholas J. Stella, 18, of Hamburg, was driving a 2000 Nissan Altima northbound on SR61, in West Brunswick Township, about 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 25, when he lost control on the wet roadway.The car traveled across the left lane and struck the center concrete barrier with the front end. After impact the car spun in a counter-clockwise direction and traveled about 120-feet north back across both lanes before striking the guard rail along the the berm.After impact with the guard rail the car spun clockwise, traveled 105 feet, and struck another guard rail section on the berm, where it came to rest.Stella sustained a minor injury but did not require immediate medical attention. He was cited for driving a vehicle at a (un) safe speed troopers said.
