State police at Scuylkill Haven are investigating an unusual theft incident at a lodge in Schuylkill County.

Troopers said someone removed 15 shingles from the roof of the Cressona Mason Lodge, located at Ash and Third sts., in Cressona. The theft occurred sometime between 6 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 22, and Tuesday, at 10 a.m.Troopers are also probing a criminal mischief incident in Cressona. James Achey, of N. Fourth St., reported someone slashed two tires on his 1999 Volkswagon Jetta while parked near his home. The incident occurred overnight of Tuesday into Wednesday.Anyone with information on either incident is asked to call troopers at (570) 593-2000.
